Aashis Darji is 6 years 6-year-old boy from the remote village of Ram Nagar in Tori Rural Municipality, Parsa, Nepal. He lost his mother 3 years back. She committed suicide. His father is working as a labourer on daily wages in Kathmandu.
Currently, Aashi is staying with his grandmother at Ram Nagar, ( A village on the way to Birjung from MEI School and it will take around 25 minutes to drive on the school bus).
Aashi is a bright and healthy child who has a bright future ahead of him but is in need of support so MEI decided to take him to school. Since last April he has been in school and continuing his studies in class UKG.
