Mrs. Sina Tanner

My name is Sina Tanner and I live and work in Switzerland.
Over 25 Years ago I visited Nepal for the first time and immediately fell in love with the people and
the country itself. After working in a home for street children and orphans in Kathmandu I knew
that I will always have a bond with this special corner of the world.

I was lucky to meet the most wonderful children in the home that I have been working with. We shared
our thoughts, our dreams, tears, laughter and stayed as good as possible in contact with
each other.

In 2012 two of the former scholars of the home contacted me to ask whether I would be
interested to join them for a school project in the remote area of Tori Parsa. It was the perfect
opportunity to give back something to children who are in desperate need of support in remote villages of Nepal, and I happily said yes. And, It was an opportunity to make my inner thoughts make true which I had felt a long time back in my teen when I was volunteering back at a child sponsorship project in 1997-98.

Now 10 years later I am still very happy to be part of it and am sure that if we join hand in hand we can make lots of things come true and I would like to heartily invite my friends, relatives, and wellwisher to join our initiatives.

We can make a greater impact and a difference in the lives of needy children with our joint effort! Let's be together on the journey to end poverty! by giving the gift of education!

Without your support, we couldn't have done more and from your support, we are being able to provide quality education to our MEI children. #KeepSupporting #KeepSmiling
